Paul McCartney To Appear On Travis Frontman's Solo Album

Travis frontman Fran Healy recently spoke to the London Free Press and revealed that Paul McCartney will appear on the track "As It Comes" from his forthcoming solo album, Wreckorder.  Healy tells the Free Press when he wrote the song, "the refrain reminded" him of The Beatles, so he reached out to McCartney to play bass on the song and the former Beatle agreed.  Healy says while many people ask Macca to sing on albums, "I don't think he's ever played bass on anyone else's album before."

To thank Sir Paul for appearing on his album, Healy has decided to become a vegetarian.  Healy says it wasn't an extreme lifestyle change since his "son's a veggie," and he had already been thinking about it for ages.  Healy says he running and "trying to be more healthy."  Wreckorder is in stores October 5th.
